Visiting
At Mountain View Assembly of God you are family where we serve Jesus together and expect the Holy Spirit to move when we gather. You are welcome to raise your hands and get your hallelujah on or to sit quietly and praise the One who we celebrate in a more quiet way.
- How long is the Sunday Morning Service? Sunday's start with Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and is about 45 minutes long. The main worship service begins at 10:30 a.m. with worship in music and ministry followed by the sharing of the Word. Services are usually dismissed around 12:30 p.m.
- What about kids? At Mountain View we strive to have meaningful classes for children of all ages for Sunday School, someone should be available in the foyer to help you find the right class. We worship together in the main sanctuary at 10:30 and then children ages up to 12 are dismissed to Children's Church. We also have child care for the smaller ones.
- What’s the service like? We are a Pentecostal church with a blend of contemporary and traditional worship where the Holy Spirit is allowed freedom to move and operate in the gifts given to the church according to 1 Corinthians 12-14.
- How do people normally dress? You will find that most of us are dressed casually, even Pastor Harvey these days.
