You don't have to earn it, you don't have to get fixed, you don't even have to look the part (whatever that looks like) all you have to do is receive it from the One who gave it because it cost Him everything. We would love to share more about that love with you; so come check us out and let us learn more about the Savior who is Jesus together. Because that's what our mission is; to share this message of the Savior and then to learn about Him together (we are all on the journey to know Him, we're just at different points along the way.)
(So that is the who of our mission; now to the what of our mission)
Repentance can be an intimidating word. However, what it means (turning away from a life of sin and following Christ) and what it does (sets you free from the burden of shame and guilt associated with sin) is a powerful and transformative act. It offers everyone the opportunity to cleanse their lives of sin and renew (being born again) their relationship with God.
As a church, we passionately encourage all to turn away from darkness and embrace the radiant light of Christ not in a judgemental way but in a way to demonstrate that a choice to stay in sin leads to eternal death versus a choice for Christ, which is the way to freedom and eternal life.
Repentance is the first, most thrilling step, you will ever embark on in this journey – a life in the kingdom of God.
While God calls us to back to relationship with Him and we achieve that through repentance, we build on our individual relationships in the concept of community, which is what we call the church. The core mission of the local church is to empower its members for ministry. This encompasses the provision of guidance for daily living and preparing individuals for their unique callings.
We are able to do this through following the prescription we find in Ephesian 4:11-16 ... And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
We are committed to teaching people of all ages the fundamentals of the Word of God and empowering each one to the practical application of these principles. Our belief in strengthening families and individuals through a relationship with Jesus Christ drives our mission to heal the broken, encourage the hopeless, and extend love to the lost.
We are dedicated to activating every member of our congregation to lead a purposeful Christian life – in everyday experiences, as well as in significant achievements.
Join us in our journey of faith and transformation.
Worship is the lifeblood of Mountain View Assembly of God. We believe that our worship brings joy in our sorrows, comfort in our storms, and strength in our times of need. You’ll hear music from all stages and styles on any given service. You can sit, stand, dance before the Lord, and/or even raise your hands. We want to be free to bring glory to God not ourselves.
Praise recognizes His power, Worship recognizes His presence.
We do it not because of what He has done, is doing, or even will do; we do it simply because of who He is.
Join us as servants of God, who have been adopted into His kingdom.
At Mountain View, we invite each person to not only serve the local church by meeting current needs, but to humbly consider serving their community. Serving creates deeper connections within our community and strengthens the body of Christ.
In the Bible, the church is not defined by a denomination or a building; it is the living body of Christ (you may have heard the phrase 'hand and feet of Christ'). As members of that body, we each have different abilities and play many important roles. When one part is not functioning, it affects the entire body. Every individual part is necessary and significant. As we bring our unique gifts and talents into service, we become like the hands and feet of Christ to a world who needs to see what right looks like.

Mountain View Assembly of God is a member of the General Council of the Assemblies of God and the Northwest Ministry Network.
As part of the Assemblies of God we follow the "Statement of Fundamental Truths" which contains the 16 Doctrines of the Assemblies of God. These are non-negotiable tenets of faith to which all Assemblies of God churches adhere. Four of these, Salvation, the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, Divine Healing, and the Second Coming of Christ are considered Cardinal Doctrines which are essential to the church's core mission of reaching the world for Christ.
Mountain View is a part of the Assemblies of God fellowship. The Assemblies of God was founded in 1914 in Hot Springs, Arkansas with 300 people at the founding convention. Today there are nearly 13,000 churches in the U.S. with over 3 million members and adherents. There are more than 69 million Assemblies of God members worldwide, making the Assemblies of God the world’s largest Pentecostal denomination.
